Dennis MacGillivray Obituary
Biddeford, ME - Dennis MacGillivray, 42, passed away due to injuries sustained in an accident in Biddeford, on April 21, 2019.
Dennis was raised in Holden, MA and attended St. John's High School in Shrewsbury. He leaves a sister, Sally Loverin and her husband Mike of Rutland, MA and a brother Brian MacGillivray of Henderson, NV, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a niece and nephew. Dennis was predeceased by his mother Karyn A. MacGillivray, Esq.
Family and friends will gather to honor, remember and celebrate Dennis' life on Sunday, April 28th from 2:00pm until 4:00pm with a prayer service to follow at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester.

Wow I am shocked to read that Dennis has passed away. I was just reminiscing about living with him and his brother Brian in Jefferson 20 something years ago. My condolences to the Family. I might have to go play a game of disc golf in his memory. Rest in Peace brother.

Somehow I came across this page when I was reminiscing about a good Dennis story with an old friend. I hadn't spoken to Dennis in about 20 years but I'm glad to see that people remember him for the friendly and humorous person that he always was. My condolences to the family, and old friends whom I see have stopped by this page as well. Take a moment out of your day to think of Dennis and know that he is still smiling with us all.

Dear Sally and Brian,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. I have some great memories of hanging out with Dennis when we were just kids. I remember the trip to Disney in the mid 1980's. I can picture it in my mind. Your dear mom Karen and my mother with 5 out of control kids squeezed like tiny sardines into the smallest compact car driving to and from the parks. I remember staying up all night with Dennis watching SNL, followed by Nightmare on Elm Street repeatedly. I enjoyed going out to breakfast with Dennis and Marvin. And I recall playing some very intense monopoly games. Dennis was always quick with a witty or sarcastic zinger. He was a good close childhood friend. He had a good heart. I am sorry to hear about the tragic end.

Dennis you were a kind and generous person, and always willing to help out. Really is a travesty to hear about a terrible situation such as this. You were a good person and consider it a privilege to work with you!! Thank you for being a great person. My deepest condolences to all of the family with such a terrible loss. My husband and I send our heartfelt condolences to Dennis's family and friends. We are regulars at the 99 restaurant in Biddeford and he was our favorite waiter, whom we requested when we came in. He will be missed!

Dennis was so kind, quick witted, and hilarious. He was able to always make me laugh and somehow turn my jokes around on me. My wife and I will miss him dearly.
