Donald Coppenrath Obituary

Donald F. Coppenrath, 55
Clinton - Donald F. Coppenrath, 55, of 56 Boylston St., died Monday, February 20, 2012 in UMass-Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester, after an illness.
He leaves his wife, Patricia A. (Krafve) Coppenrath; a daughter, Mallory A. Coppenrath of Somerville, whom he adored; three sisters: Betty Todino, Joan Shepard and Sandy Manning; nieces and nephews; and his coworkers at NyproMold, whom he considered to be his extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Coppenrath.
Born and raised in Clinton, son of the late Francis and Frances (Adshade) Coppenrath, Don was a life-long resident. He attended Clinton Schools.
For many years, he worked for NyproMold, as a tool maker.
A member of St. John the Evangelist Church, Don was an animal lover, and avid sports fan, especially fond of the San Francisco 49ers. As fishing was his favorite pastime, he was a member of Bass Masters, and many other fishing clubs.
A graveside service for Don will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in St. John's Cemetery, Lancaster. There are no calling hours. For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Road Sterling, MA 01564. McNally Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., is directing arrangements. For online condolences, please visit
