Edna Sinclair Obituary

Edna R. (Gendron) Sinclair, 87, a longtime resident of South Grafton passed away Janaury 20, 2007.

Her husband George R. Sinclair passed in 1979. She is survived by nieces and nephews including John Gendron of Hampton NH, Joyce Gibree of Northbridge, Yvonne Van Rooyen of Marlborough, Eleanor Minguy in CT, Pauline Formisano in RI and several great nieces and nephews.

She was born December 6, 1919 in Marlborough, the daughter of Alfred G. and Regina (Bouchard) Gendron. Mrs. Sinclair was raised in Marlborough and had also lived in Framingham, Southborough and Ashland before moving to South Grafton in 1974. She worked at Framingham State Teachers College for 33 years retiring in 1979. She was a parishioner of St. James Church and served with The Women's Guild, The Daughters of Isabella and it's St. Margaret's Circle both in South Grafton and a former member of The Canadian Club in Framingham.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 24th at 11 am in her Parish Church of St. James, 89 Main St. (Rt. 122A) in SOUTH GRAFTON. She will then be laid to rest with her husband in Fairview Cemetery. All are invited to calling hours Wednesday, January 24th from 9 to 10:30 am in RONEY FUNERAL HOMES SOUTH CHAPEL, 124 Main St. (Rt. 122A) in SOUTH GRAFTON before the funeral Mass. Memorial donations may be made to Rev. John Henault O.M.I. Haiti Missions, 29 Blackstone St. Sutton MA 01590, The St. Jude Shrine, Dominican Fathers, 183 Bay View Ave., Jersey City NJ 07305 or to St. James Church Memorial Fund, 89 Main St. S. Grafton, MA 01560.
