Edward A. Dupre, 81

Sterling - Edward A. Dupre passed away peacefully in Clinton Umass Hospital on Tuesday April 6, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. He was born on July 2, 1939, the son of Alfonce F. Dupre Sr. and Evelyn D. Gay who are predeceased. He leaves his loving partner and caregiver of many years, Linda J. Jacevicius of Worcester, a son Jamie D. Steffen and his wife Karla of Somersworth, N.H; his two loving daughters: Michelle Dupre Miller of Machiasport Maine, Sheryl Fozia and husband of Mexico. He leaves 2 brothers and 3 sisters: Robert Dupre and wife Lorraine of Webster; Alfonce Dupre of Woonsocket Rhode Island; Roxanne Dupre-Arena and husband Tony of Milford, MA; Timberly Ortega of Milford Ma; Haleigh Rose Dupre of Hoboken, New Jersey. He leaves 3 grandchildren; Danielle Miller of Auburn, Ma; Kaleb Steffen and Keegan Rose of Somersworth N.H. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Edward was born in Worcester Massachusetts where he worked for Consolidated Beverages for 29 years and was a part of the Teamsters until his retirement in 2002. He had many good years with his working buddies where he was known as "Dupa" and was known for being one of a kind. Edward enjoyed going to car shows weekly, the horse track and going to the casino. He would have become a great grandfather this coming June to Benjamin, which he would have been so proud to have a great grandson. He will also be missed by his favorite little boy Jace Dudley. Edward will be deeply missed and never forgotten. There will be no services or calling hours, arrangements were done at Caspers Funeral home of South Boston, there will be a celebration of Edward's life in July. In his memory donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
