Edward F. Turgeon, 82

BARRE - Edward F. Turgeon, 82, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and loved ones.

He is survived by his 10 children Edward P. Turgeon, Crystal A. Sullivan, Cheryl L. Riley, Denise M. Turgeon, Beverly J. Foulkrod, Joseph E. Turgeon, Peter A. Turgeon, Patti A. Pickett, Sandra L. Trombley and Deborah J. Doane; a brother Eugene P. Turgeon; 31 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren and many nephews & nieces. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Dorothy M. (Higginbotham) Turgeon, his parents Joseph E. & Yvonne (LaChance) Turgeon; 13 brothers and sisters. We dwell not in sorrow but rather celebrate his life and legacy.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 6-8 PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home, 96 S.Barre Rd., Barre. The funeral will be held on Saturday with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St.Josephs Church, South St., Barre. The burial will follow in the parish cemetery. For an online tribute please visit:
