Elvira Ward Obituary

Elvira M. (Marzillo) Ward, wife of the late Roland J. Ward, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 in Falls Church,Virginia.

Mother of Frank Ward and his wife Becky, Carla F. Ward, Alida Ward Sheehan and her husband Doug, Maria Ward and Angela Ward. Sister of Angela Marzillo of Worcester. Grandmother of Veronica, John and Michael Ahmad, Caitlin and Rachel Coleman, Janna Ward and Faith and Harrison Ganoe. Great grandmother of Merrill Miller.

Her Funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, Sept. 8, in Saint James Catholic Church, Falls Church Virginia.

Interment services at her graveside will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. at Saint John's Cemetery, Cambridge Street, Worcester, in section Saint Michael.

The family has requested contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1025 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Suite 1005, Washington, DC 20036-4104 or the American Heart Association, 7023 Poplar Street, Annandale, VA 22003.

Mom Ward was a dear friend of Edward O'Donnell, best friend to Kathaleen O'Donnell and 2nd mother to the O'Donnell kids. She was an amazing woman with a heart of gold and love of & for all. We will all miss her so very much. God bless the family, We keep you all in our prayers, and in our hearts.
