When I was a child in 1970s, my parents also worked at Polaroid. I have fond memories of dinners with you, Don, and you taking me camping on the Cape one time. Don, you were so nice to me, and I felt unconditional acceptance. I will always be grateful for your kindness. I never succeeded in tracking you down until now, but know that you made a difference in my life.

Dear Susie and my dear Don;
My Don- we told Nikolai last night that you were in heaven. He was very sad- but also happy he has another guardian angel in heaven! I know that is true-because, if it was not for you and being in Boston one very special day, we would never have found the key to our precious boy.
Don- we had so many special times together- you expanded my horizons on life. How exciting to experience Turkey with you as our guide! I treasure the gold necklace set you bartered for in Antalya..and, what about exploring Scotland- with Blitzen on the Olde Course! I will never forget the day I met Dr. J on the steps of BID..that was a day meant to be- (especially since he intimidated the heck of me!) I asked if he would see you- he said "I will see him tomorrow"!
One of my most special memories is when we planted the Rosemary at Rhuarden...it is practically a tree now...and,another is the day of "Thomas the Train!"- the picture you took is by my bed on MVI. My darling, our dinners will not be the same without your blessings..we will carry it on in your name ..maden suya, my brother!
All my love,
Dianne

Dear Susie,
Dogan lives on with the angels. We look at the night sky in the quiet of darkness, and he will never be far.
We loved and cherished him. Dogan changed our lives in profound ways. We will always cherish the blessings at dinner in Turkish and English. He is closer than we know and it will be his light that shines on us.
The brilliance of his soul will make our night sky glow.

May peace shine down upon you and bring you comfort.
Love, Scott

Dear Sue, so sorry to read of your loved one's passing. It seems your time together was so short. Not fair, but then nothing much is. You're in my thoughts and prayers. Judy Cobb
