Sorry to miss services for dear Raymond. Judy and I are visiting in Virginia with our son and family and unable to be there for the final services. Brother Ray was a very good and honest man. We remember him fondly from Masonic functions and also the Eastern Star. My wife was a past Matron, Judith Johnson and I, in Matthew John Whittall Lodge. We both remember Barbara and Hertha with affection and know that Ray loved them very much.
The Anderson children have much to be proud of in their parents. Much love,

My wife and I extend our deepest sympathy to my brothers family. Ray was my marshal and guiding light when I was master. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Ray was a very long time good friend and brother. I first met him over 50 years ago when I worked at The Heald Machine Company in Worcester. Ray took me under his wing and 47 years ago, sponsored me to become a member of Matthew John Whittall Lodge of Masons. I always looked up to Ray and shall continue to do so.

My wife, Natalie, and I express our deepest sympathy on the passing of Ray. He was always a gentleman and a man I was proud to call "Worshipful Brother." The year that Ray became master of Matthew John Whittall Lodge he bestowed on me a great honor, that of starting in the line of officers that eventually gave me the wonderful experience of serving as Master. A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Ray shopping with one of his daughters in the Shrewsbury Stop and Shop. I believe it was a happy moment for both of us after not seeing each other for a few decades, and I believe his daughter also enjoyed seeing these two old Masonic brothers so pleased to see each other. Natalie and I want the family to know that Ray was a man well respected by so many.

I want to express my condolences to the extended Anderson Family. I first met Ray in late 1960 or early in 1961 when I made application to Matthew John Whittall Lodge and he was the Master. It was a long road that we traveled and I had the privilege of standing beside him when he received his 50 Year Past Master's Citation and I my 50 Year Veteran's Medal. He was a man that did not hide his light under a basket. Taking the words of our Masonic Brother, Red Skelton used in his closing and adding them to this closing, "God Bless".

Dear John and Family,
So sorry for the loss of your father. Although we never met your Dad, we're certain he was as least a good a man as you, John. Once again, our sympathies are with you.
Love, Ruth & Bob
