Francis Santoro Obituary
Worcester - Francis "Franny" X. Santoro, 72, of Worcester, died peacefully Thursday, January 28th in the St. Francis Home. He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Fahey of North Brookfield and Danielle Cavallo of Northborough; his devoted partner of 40 years, Lennart Soderman of Worcester; his sister Patricia "Patty" Jennings and her husband, Thomas of West Boylston; four grandchildren, Lydia and Owen Fahey and Francesca and Sofia Cavallo; and many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a grandson, Zachary Fahey.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Domenic and Mary (Cassano) Santoro; and was a graduate of Commerce High School and attended Worcester State College. Franny had owned and operated the Mr. Francis Salon and had also worked as an interior decorator. He had a passion for life and enjoyed world travel and gardening.
His funeral is Thursday, February 4th at 10:00 a.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

May you rest in peace, dear Franny.
My deepest sympathy to you, dearest Lenny and family.
I learned in recent years that Franny was my second cousin, although we had known each other for many years.
We all had some wonderful times together and I did get some gorgeous prom hairdos done by Franny back in the seventies. He was a talented and spirited man and I know how much he was loved.
