My name is Mike Barbieri and I worked with Duke almost 20 years ago at Atlantic Thermal. I just found out a few minutes ago that he had passed. He was very good to me and I learned a great deal from him. My condolences to you all and my apologies for not reaching out to you sooner.

Duke was an amazing and kind spirited man who put up such a tough fight. He persevered through several trying health obstacles and never let his positive attitude waiver. It was a pleasure having him on our unit and I was lucky to get a glimpse at the amazing man that he was. From all of us at Brigham, I wish your family all of the best in this trying time.
