Saying goodbye to Bud is heartbreaking for me. I will always remember the years of love we shared - boat rides on the lake and his own fireworks on the 4th of July! Very patriotic! Bud loved music and I try to remember as much of it as I can. His idea of a perfect day was going to Salisbury Beach - always needed to bring his dog too! The countless hours we played pool together - remember, the winner gets to play their favorite music! No one cooked a better burger or steak on the grill - cooking was a hobby of love. His eyes always lit up when he saw his grandchildren - he would love to hold them and nibble their toes! His warm smile and familiar laugh is now a blessed memory. I hope our energy comes together again somewhere in this big universe - I will look for you always - your loving son, Jim

A Grateful American

November 16, 2016

Though our grateful nation mourns with you in your loss, we can only feel a small part of the loss you are experiencing.

Your loved one will always be a part of our country's story. As such, their sacrifice on behalf of our nation will always be honored.

While the process of grieving requires a lot of time and, somehow, is never complete, we will be praying for you and grieving with you.

In deepest sympathy.
