I am one of those who got to see Gary at work. He was the ultimate journalist/reporters. He was honest, factual, and professional in all his reporting, over a remarkable career. He was a front row witness to some of the most famous trials ever. He was knowledgeable far beyond the courts. I always enjoyed talking with him about a lot of different subjects. I am so sad that he never got to enjoy his retirement, and I'm sad to not having the chance to wish him well. I'm sad because I won't get the chance to tell him how much I appreciated his friendship. RIP Gary. We'll miss you. Peter Ettenberg, Holden, MA

I saw Gary regularly during my decades of work at the Worcester Superior Court. He was easy to get along with and had a good sense of humor. He was a good listener who wrote fairly and accurately. Rest in peace.

ive known Garry since we were teenagers which seems like just yesterday. In the recent years weve lost some close friends way to soon. Now I have to add Garry to that list. We always say nice things about people when they die, some deserve it, some dont. Take my word for it Garry does. God has a great reporter on his staff now. See ya down the road Gar
