Very sad news regarding George; I enjoyed playing golf with him, and I always thought he had a good perspective in the HR field. We will miss him, especially his staunch support of anything and all that was Pittsburgh

My condolences to Linda and the family. George was a mentor to me and many others at Salary.com; I had only worked with him a short period but his character and personality made it feel as if we were old friends from way back... That's just the type of guy George was; always willing to share his life experiences to comfort and welcome others into the circle. I'm going miss the many laughs, conversations, and stories.

I know you're watching over us right now and probably making fun of the way I'm pouring on here but face it man, this is the kind of legacy and impact you make on people. I'll miss you.

May God Bless and keep you in his grace.

Sincerely,
-Geophrey

As I'd walk down the hall at Salary.com, George would greet me with a hardy "Good Morning young lady" - which I truly appreciated as the second elder statesperson of the TM sales team. George and I traveled on business together often, and I always felt so well cared for when I was with him...always making sure I was safe, comfortable, and of course well fed. We were a good team, and shared in eachother's success.

George was so thankful for his wonderful relationship with Linda, for his success at work, and for all the abundance that was ahead of him. The cosmic irony of his death just leaves a whole in my heart.

George was not just a co-worker, but a real friend to me. I will miss him forever.

My deepest sympathies to Linda, the Evans family, and all of us who knew him.

My Friend George was a wonderful man. I only worked with him for a short period of time but I got a sense of his true nature. He was a loving and giving person who really did try to help everyone around him have a brighter day. My condolences go out to Linda and his family. May God bless his soul.

If we could turn back time to last week and the beautiful Thanksgiving we had, I'd tell George how thankful I was for him being part of our lives. I'd thank him for loving and taking such good care of my Aunt Linda. We considered him an uncle. Will miss you so very much!! Rest in peace. Glad you got to know and love Lindsey and met Connor, too.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss - I know it must be very hard for everyone who was close to George. I was George's co-worker for 2.5 years. I loved how he stuck to his views and what he believed in and how he reached out to others who were in need (we worked together to donate clothes and toys to a homeless shelter last Christmas). He really was a father figure to many folks here at Salary.com. I'll never forget George. Please know that he lives on in many, many hearts.
