I only met Mrs Masciarelli a few times in the late 60's and early 70's when I was hanging out with her son Bill. She seemed to be a sweet lady but smart enough to know what we little hippies were up to. Bill and I watched the July 1969 moon landing in her living room. She was always very nice to me and that counts a lot.

I am so sorry to hear the news of Gwen's passing. I met her 7 years ago in a Hospice Bereavement group, where we shared the pain of losing our beloved husbands. Our little group continued to get together for dinner once a month long after our group was "officially" over, until shortly after Gwen moved away.
She was a sweetheart, and thinking of her brings me a smile. My condolences on your loss.
