Harrison Griffith Obituary

Harrison P. Griffith, 63, of Flagler Drive, was stricken ill and died on Saturday, August 16, 2008 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester.

He leaves his brother, Homer W. Griffith and his wife Joyce of Holden; a sister, Hope E. Kirby and her husband Robert of Freedom, NH; a nephew, Daniel F. Griffith of Worcester; and several nephews and a niece. He was born in Worcester, son of Homer F. and Tekla (Halunen) Griffith, and lived most of his life in Holden.

Mr. Griffith was a mechanic for Reed Rico Manufacturing in Holden for many years. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors.

Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden, is directing arrangements.
