Helen Galeckas Obituary
WORCESTER - Mrs. Helen U. (Lingaitis) Galeckas, 91, passed away Saturday, August 16th at the Christopher House.
She is survived by two daughters, Margery Partridge and her husband Ronald of Oxford, Ellen Yorston and her husband Stephen of Oakham, two sons, Bernard Galeckas and his wife Marion of Worcester, and Robert Galeckas and his wife Susan of New Hampshire; also seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Helen was born November 27, 1922 in Worcester, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Anthony and Ursula (Sampson) Lingaitis. She was the wife of sixty- four years to the late Joseph Galeckas who passed in 2006.
Helen was a lifelong resident of Worcester and a parishioner of the former St. Casimer Church.
Her funeral will take place on Tuesday, August 19th at FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St Worcester. A funeral mass will follow at St. John Church at 11:00am. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
