Helen Mardirosian Jodray

Helen (Aucoin) Mardirosian Jodray, 96, formerly of Oval Drive, Shrewsbury, died Sunday, January 6th, in Autumn Village in Worcester, after an illness.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Mardirodian and his wife, Anne Marie of Shrewsbury and Donald K. Mardirosian of Auburn; a daughter, Elsie Ordway of Bow, New Hampshire; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Olson of Princeton and a son-in-law, Richard Fazio of Worcester; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Alan R. Mardirosian; a daughter, Grace Fazio; her first husband, Charles Mardirosian and her second husband, Garfield Jodray.

Helen was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Dorsier and Albina Aucoin and lived in Hyannis for several years before she moved to Shrewsbury then to Worcester.

Mrs. Jodray had worked for St. Pierre Chain Company during WWII and then several years for the Telechron Company. She was past President of the Worcester Emblem Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Helen's family on Wednesday, January 9th from 11:30-12:30 in the Britton-Shrewsbury Funeral Home, 648 Main St., Shrewsbury. Funeral services for Helen will follow at 12:30 PM. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to New England Hospice, 190 Old Derby Rd., Hingham, MA 02043.
