Henry Ahronian Obituary
Born in Newton, MA he was the son of the late Leon D. and Ruth (Zakarian) Ahronian. A graduate of Hopkinton High School and Worcester Boys Trade, he served many years as a service manager for various trucking companies, retiring in 1989 from Redi Mix Co. of Orleans, MA.
Henry thoroughly enjoyed gardening and shell fishing and was a member of the Elks Lodge of Hyannis, MA. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Leon and his wife Anne of Holden, MA; a daughter, Gail and her husband Ron Racicot of Shrewsbury, MA; grandfather of Thomas Ahronian of Boston, Leanne Ahronian of Worcester and Nathan Racicot of Shrewsbury; brother of Anne Schickel of San Diego, CA and the late Albert and Charles Ahronian. He is also survived by six nieces and three nephews.
Calling hours are on Friday, December 5th from 5-8 PM at Morris & O'Connor Funeral Home, 58 Long Pond Drive, South Yarmouth, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chandler Gray Cemetery, West Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cape Cod Hospital Oncology Department, 27 Park Street, Hyannis, MA 02601. For guest visit
