Jackalyn Bastille Obituary
Born in Milo, ME, Dec. 1963, she grew up in Worcester, MA and has lived in Wells, ME for 7 years. She was predeceased by her father, John A. "Chief" Solomon.
She leaves her devoted husband of 20 years, Mathew Bastille; two children, a daughter, Cheyenne, age 14; a son, John Mathew, age 12; her mother, Mary Solomon Thorpe of Worcester; her mother-in-law, Doris Bastille of Worcester; two sisters, Elaine Solomon of Worcester, Christine Esposito of Worcester; 2 brothers, John & wife Lee Anne Solomon of Millbury & Derek Solomon of Worcester; two half brothers & wives, Duane & Dolores Brown of Oxford, David & Francis Brown of Worcester; 6 half sisters & husbands, Karan & Harley Cuthbertson of Dover Foxcroft, ME, Marsha & Wayne Bombard of Spencer, MA, Sherri & Alfred "Pete" Peterson of Oxford, Mary Ellen Fitzgerald of Auburn, Wendy & Nicholas Halal of Shrewsbury, Andrea & David Perrin of Worcester; 2 sister-in-laws, Laurie Flynn of Pike, New Hampshire, Alvine Williams of Sugarland Texas, 3 brother-in-laws, John Bastille of Worcester, Peter Bastille of Buxton, Maine, Joseph Bastille of North Brookfield; and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
She has worked at Strawberries and the Newsroom on Front St. in Worcester, the Sea Breeze Motel & Camp Ground, The Webhanett Boat Yard & the Harbour Side Restaurant in Wells for a number of years.
Services will be private in Wells, Maine. Donations can be made to the Red Cross.

To the Solomon, Brown, and Bastille families, We are all God's children. This is just another stepping stone in our lives. We will miss Jackie tremendously! She is now free as a bird--the way she always wanted to be. Love always, Christine
