Jacqueline Lampson Obituary

Jacqueline (Sutcliffe) Lampson, of Worcester, died Sunday, Aug. 10, at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus in Worcester. She was the wife of the late Donald Lampson.

She was born in Manchester, England, daughter of the late Joseph and Ada (Hooton) Sutcliffe. She resided in England until moving to the states in 1962. She was employed as a therapist at Holden Nursing Home in Holden the past 20 years. Jacqueline was known for the many antiques she has collected and especially enjoyed cross stitching, quilting and gardening.

She leaves her son, Mark Lampson of Hudson; her daughter, Suzanne Garretson of Framingham and her companion for the past 7 years with whom she resided, Greg Hevey of Worcester. She is also survived by her 3 sisters, Josephine Kurgan of Hudson, Barbara Roland of Mississippi, Gail Sutcliffe of England; her 2 brothers, Pete and William Sutcliffe, both of England and 4 grandchildren.

Funeral services are being held at the convenience of the family and under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
