James Esslinger Obituary

James Frederick Esslinger, Jr., 65

Charlton - James Frederick Esslinger, Jr., 65, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 surrounded by his family.

James leaves his two children; Jonathan D. Esslinger and his wife Jean of Milford, and Christine E. wife of Michael Kane, Sr. of New Hampshire; three grandchildren: Allison, Michael Jr. and Julianna Kane, his sister Jane Thornton and her husband Jeffrey of Charlton, a brother John S. Esslinger of Charlton, many nieces and nephews including: Donna Warren and her husband James, Andrew Walker, Craig Morris, and Tim Thornton.

James was born in Bethesda, Maryland a son of the late James F. and Marie (Greco) Esslinger, Sr. He worked as a journalist for many years with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as well as Worcester Magazine. James served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Calling Hours for James will be private. A Chapel Service will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street Winchendon, MA.

Kindly Omit Flowers. Memorial Contributions in James's Honor may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
