I came across Mr. Feeley's obituary while looking for another. My parents were close friends of Mr. and Mrs. Feeley. I visited their home many tomes as a teenager. I remember Mr. Feeley fondly. He was a kind and passionate man. Reading his obituary, I recall growing up in the Greendale and Upper Burncoat neighborhoods. I lost all contact with everyone, when I relocated out of state many decades ago. Mr. Feeley had a long and productive life. Condolences to sons Paul and Bob

I worked for Jim as a secretary for several years and never once did he mention his war record. He was a good principal, loved the kids but his wife was the love of his life. Really great guy. Pat Cronin

My sincere condolences to the Feeley Family. As time goes on in life, one often wonders what ever happened to the people we had as teachers, principals and staff at school. I remember Mr. Feeley as my principal from Dix St. School. I can't recall the exact years, but I went there from 1966 to 1970 and then the Elm Park Community School was built on N. Ashland St. Then we had a new principal. Before the new school was built, there was a fire at one of the Dix St. buildings and we all had to be bused to other schools in the city. It seems he lived a good, long, life and God bless him for working until he was 91 years old! He was a true inspiration to everyone that ever had him as a teacher or principal. Rest In Peace and thank your for your service in the military and Worcester Public Schools.

I had Mr. Feeley in sixth grade in 1962/63. He was the best! He was an inspiring teacher, and he was also our baseball and football coach. May he rest in peace. I hope his family is comforted in knowing the vast number of people's lives he influenced.

Mr. Feeley was my 6th grade teacher at Dix Street school around 1960. We loved him. Besides being a great teacher, he was very funny. Dix Street had a very large secretary names Miss Brown. She would come into the class looking for Mr. Feeley yelling his name. He would hide under the desk so she couldn't see him and she would leave. All the kids thought that was hilarious. He was also a caring teacher who had so much patience. I often think of him.
