Diane, Michell, and family, I am so sorry about Jim. Even though I have lived across the street for 35 years, I just learned of your loss. Looking back, I saw lots of activity at your home around that time but thought nothing of it as I have always envied all the family functions and get-togethers your family enjoyed. I remember first moving to the neighborhood and seeing Jim almost every day with a big smile, wave and a "hi." I can't imagine how hard a loss this must be for your close family. Thoughts and prayers for all of you.

As a member of the Holy Name Class of 1982, I am grateful for having known Jimmy for many years. And I am even more grateful for having recently attended our 30th class reunion at the Cape where Jim was the life of the party. His passing has shocked us and left us all with heavy hearts. However, we are all better people for having had him as a friend. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be eternal.

To the entire Grasseschi family and those who loved Jim,
We are close friends of Kevin and Debbie Jones. Over the years we have had the priviledge of hearing what an amazing man, employer, and most of all, friend Jim was to Kevin and the Jones family. And after reading the vast messages expressing how kind and caring and encouraging a person Jim was, we regret not having known him ourselves as we feel we have truly missed out. Now we can only offer our deepest sympathy and prayers for all of you to be able to move forward with the help of God, family, friends, and all that Jim has taught you by example. Most Sincerely.

I am so sad to think that the world lost another great man. I can't imagine life without my phone ringing 5 times a week in the fall with Jim's voice on it saying " I hate fantasy football, but do want to make a trade anyway?" I am crushed with this loss of one of my dearest friends. He was the greatest..When we weren't talking about football or work stuff we talked about family. He loved his family so much and always said he loved being home. I hope there is a heaven because I hope to see my friend again someday.Knowing Jimbo he has already recruited angels to start a new fantasy league next season....Rest in peace my friend.I will think of you often and God Bless your amazing family..

Dear Gina--- I haven't seen you in a long time, but our families go back a long time also. Judging from the number of people who signed the guest book, your brother was obviously a very well-respected and beloved father, brother, friend and member of the community. Words alone cal never bring anyone back, but the greatest tribute to a life well-lived is in the number of people on whom he had a positive impact. Those people will carry on his memory and continue the good that was important to him.

Michelle, Brittany, Nick, Amanda, Diane, Maria, Gina, Lisa and the entire extended Grasseschi family,
Our hearts are broken along with yours. And yet, we rejoice in having been blessed by the gift of Jim and all he stood for. Jim was not my husband's boss, he was his closest friend, a brother. A genuinely caring, loving, gentle, devoted, family man. When Kev's dad passed, Jim was there; when my grandmother passed, he sent a loving card with words of encouragement; as our boys have grown, he took full interest in everything they were doing; he cheered me on when pursuing nursing school; stories of Jim, his family and the name Grasseschi have been a "staple" in our home for 22 years - family. The "list" goes on and the impact he had on so many will remain.
May you be comforted with the memories, the love, the legacy he left behind. May the Lord's loving embrace and love for each of you be a place of comfort and solitude. You can count on us to lift you up in prayer and to be there to do or help in whatever way we can.
With loving thoughts and deep sympathy, Kevin, Deb, Josh and Nathan Jones

My sympathies to Jim's family and friends. I had the honor of working with his Dad John and Jim. Jim was a great guy to work for and always treated me as an old friend when I would stop at the office and say hi after I left working for his company. My wife Caroline also met Jim at some of the company Christmas parties years ago and is saddened by your loss. We will always remember Jim fondly with a smile.
