James Hersom Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Crawford of Carlsbad; his cherished son, James Matthew of Tri Cities, WA; four sisters, Tricia LeClaire, her husband Jon and their daughter Alana of Grafton, Jackie Wood, her husband Richard and their children Paul, Ryan, Tim and Caroline of Grafton, Anne Couture and her husband Raymond of W. Roxbury and Jean Thompson, her husband Jon and their children Cara and Marie of Grafton, NH; stepchildren, Adam and Shari Crawford of Provo, UT, Rachel Crawford and grandson, Sammy Crutcher of Carlsbad. He was predeceased by a stepson, Sam Crawford. Jim was born June 8, 1965, in Worcester, the son of the late James A. (1987) and M. Patricia (Dacey) Hersom (2002). He was raised in South Grafton, graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Upton and became a machinist. He was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots fan all his life. He had a great sense of humor and was able to make light or poke fun at just about any situation he encountered.
All are invited to calling hours Tuesday, May 15th from 5 to 8 p.m. in RONEY FUNERAL HOMES SOUTH CHAPEL, 124 Main St. (Rt 122A) SOUTH GRAFTON. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 16th at 10 a.m. in The Parish Church of St. James, 89 Main St. (Rt 122A) in South Grafton. He will then be laid to rest with his parents in Fairview Cemetery in South Grafton. Memorial donations are requested, in lieu of flowers, to a trust fund for his son: The James M. Hersom Trust Fund, c/o Sterling Bank, 211 Tordett St., Richland, WA 993854.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.Having just loosing our own brother PK,we know the pain can only be healed by time.Jim was a great guy and will sadly missed by all.God bless you and your family Jimmy

To all of James family, I have just heard of Jim's passing. I know he will be missed so much. He had shown me much love and shared so many laughs, he will always be in my heart. And I will cherish all the memories I have of him.

I just heard the news today and I am very sad'n. I met Jim years ago when he got out of school and went to work at Danlyne Machine Co. He was a real fun guy way back then and I'm sure he made others laugh his whole life through. You will be sure'ly missed big guy. Have a cold one with PK. God Speed.
