Dear Karen,
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness of a loss so great, but we hope these words send you some comfort in this most difficult time. Jim was a very lucky man to have you as his wife and he knew it. He told us so at the Music and Arts Festival in North Brookfield when you ran into your mother’s house to get something. He talked about how much he enjoyed your apple pies and how you baked them just for him. There was a magic between you that isn’t often seen, a love that endures through great adversity. Karen, you are an angel among us. When I met Jim for the first time at the Huguenot candle shop in Oxford and started talking to him it was as if I’d known him for a long time. He had a dynamic personality and he will be missed.
Blessing to you and your family,
Deb & Gary

Karen,
Our thoughts are with you and with Jim’s family during this difficult time. We have nothing but fond memories of Jim. We enjoyed witnessing the playful, sarcastic banter that went on between you. It was like being let into a secret society that had its own language. He will most certainly be missed. Remember, it’s good to be strong, and still it’s okay to cry.

Karen,
I never met Jim but after reading everyone's entries it's clear he was a wonderful man. I'm glad to see that you have the support of so many people. I know you will find comfort and strength through these same people. God has given us a great gift by giving us memories. I like to think of it as a place in our heart where we can visit our loved ones at anytime. Peace.
