James Tessier Obituary

James J. Tessier age 73

Northbridge, MA - James J Tessier, age 73, peacefully passed after a brief illness, on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in Melbourne Fl, surrounded by his family.

He was born in Worcester, Ma. on July 1, 1947, and leaves his beloved wife of 52 years, and High School sweetheart, Karen (Trasavage) Tessier. He is survived by his four children. Derrick Tessier of Whitinsville, and his significant other Jessica Magnani. James R. Tessier and wife Tammie ( Mastro) Tessier, of Orange City Fl., Rachael Percy and her significant other Frank White, of Toledo, Oh and Bruce Tessier of Viera Fl, his grandchildren Shawn and Kayla Percy, Timothy and Kelly Tessier, Sophia, Holland and Brady Tessier, and Nikolas Nadeau.

He was predeceased by his parents Alphie and Aurore Tessier, sisters Rochelle Roche and Eunice Gardner. He is survived by sisters June Weiner and husband Dan, as well as twin sister Ginger Asadoorian and husband Steve. He leaves lots of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was very loved by all who knew him.

James was a graduate of Northbridge High School and received an Associate degree from Fisher College, and was proud to serve his country in the U.S Navy.

James is a former owner, with his wife, of the Bungalow Restaurant. He worked in the food service industry as a manager at Wright Line Co, maintenance at the Worcester County Club, and driver for Knights Limousine.

James was a man of many interests. He always enjoyed getting out on the golf coarse with his many friends and family. His proudest moment was a hole in one. He loved camping, going to the beach, bingo, boating, fishing and was a great coach to all of his sons little league teams, and a mentor to all.

Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. It didn't matter the activity, he always jumped at the chance to spend time with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by all.

There will be no formal services for James. There was a private celebration of life, held by his family, on one of his favorite beaches.
