Charlton - Jane Ann (Esslinger) Thornton, 74, passed away July 17, 2021 at UMass/Memorial Hospital, Worcester. She leaves her husband of 35 years, Jeffrey C. Thornton;
her children, Donna Warren and her husband Jim of Millbury, Andrew Walker and his wife Beth of Cherokee, North Carolina, Craig Morris and his wife Suzzanna of Auburndale, Florida, and Timothy C. Thornton of Charlton, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, a brother, John Esslinger of Charlton, and a sister-in-law, Lori Thornton of Oxford. She was predeceased by a brother, James F. Esslinger, Jr. in 2015.
Jane was born in Lawrence, MA. July 18, 1946 a daughter of James F. and Marie M. (Greco) Esslinger, Sr. and has lived in Charlton since 1986.
She enjoyed and loved her family very much, as well as her dogs Bella and T.C., was also a Red Sox fan, and enjoyed playing bingo and going to Foxwoods.
Calling Hours are Thursday, July 22, 2021 from 10 am-12 (noon) at the ROBERT J.MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd.
Burial will be Private at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Webster.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to: Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA. 01609 or to the S.I.C.U. of UMass/Memorial Hospital, 119 Belmont St., Worcester, MA. 01605, the family Thanks them for caring for Jane during her stay there.
