Jeffery M. Russell, 61

Stratford, CT - Jeffery M. Russell, age 61, of Stratford, CT died on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in New Haven, CT. Jeff was born in Worcester, MA on April 3, 1959 to Beverly L. and the late Edward Russell. Jeffery graduated from Burncoat Senior High School in Worcester and later attended Bullard Havens Technical School for Welding in Bridgeport. Jeff was well known for his expert welding and fabrication skills. He spent many years as a custom fabrication welder with Steinmetz Machine Works in Stamford, and also repaired heavy equipment for many local construction firms.

Among his favorite things to do were to work on his Camaro, fabricate metal art, share his love of marine life with his children, and visit the ocean. He loved to take walks on the beach with one of his faithful dobermans by his side, and his favorite place to be was on Cape Cod.

Survivors include his mother Beverly Russell of Holden, MA, his children Gregory Russell and Jennifer Russell both of Oxford, CT, his brother James Russell and his wife Dorothy of Ashland, MA, his former wife Susan Russo of Oxford, CT, and cousins from the Morse family side.
