Jeremy Hayes Obituary
SPENCER - Jeremy K. Hayes 33, of Woodside Rd., died Saturday, January 14, 2017 at home.
He leaves his parents Kevin A. and Donna M. (Burnor) Hayes with whom he lived, four brothers; Joshua R., Jordan A., Justin F. Hayes, Jacob K. A. Hayes and a sister Jaymee L. Hayes all of Spencer, his paternal grandmother, Marguerite P. (Derosier) Hayes of Spencer, maternal grandmother Joyce (Gordon) Hames and her husband Richard (Pepe) of Spencer, a nephew Bryson Hayes and his mother Kristi Ouimet of Spencer, Godfather, Kevin Huard of Leicester, Godmother, Karen (Burnor) Voelings of Spencer, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by his sister Jessika A. Hayes in 2006.
He was born in Worcester and graduated from David Prouty High School, and later attended Worcester State College.
Jeremy most recently was a maintenance worker at Liberty Property Management. He produced many popular songs under a private record label, Crookland Records. He was a popular performer throughout clubs in Central Mass as well as performing at public events promoting drug awareness. Jeremy was a prolific writer of poetry and music. He was well known within the Narcotics Anonymous family and helped many with their battle for sobriety.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 21 at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St. Spencer. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the Church. Burial will follow in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. There are no calling hours. Please omit flowers. Contributions may be made to either Jeremiah's Inn, 1059 Main St., Worcester, MA 01603 or the Channing House, 21 Catherine St., Worcester, MA, 01605. The J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr. Spencer is assisting the family with arrangements.

I was so very sorry to hear about Jeremy. The service this morning was so moving. His poems and the music that he made is incredibly deep and thought provoking. I honestly don't know what to say.. I've said a few thing on Facebook etc. I know we only knew each other a couple years but knowing you was a true blessing.. you are an incredible man and you are terribly missed..

Jeremy, I remember going to your house back in the day, and all the fun we had. Fighting, playing James Bond game, basketball in the driveway, getting Justin to do crazy stuff. You were a great kid, sorry for the demons you faced. Donna and Kevin I pray for your family.

My memories of Jeremy are all good. I hope you find solace in your good memories of his all too short life. I am certain he is at peace. Although I couldn't appreciate his music genre I enjoyed watching him work to develop his artistry and his enthusiasm as he sought perfection.

My deepest sympathy to the Hayes family. I was both shocked and heartbroken to learn of Jeremy's passing. I met him just a few years ago within a faith based group and quickly took note of this beautiful, gentle soul. Jeremy possessed a loving, caring spirit enabling him to touch and change the lives of many.

Since the moment I heard of your loss of Jeremy. Beautiful Hayes family, I've been thinking about you and asking that God please give you strength through this unimaginable grief.
