Bobby and I were so very sorry to hear of John (Mr. Calhoun's) passing. I'm sure that now he and his brother-in-law Bill (Mr. Doyle) are together they'll be taking their daily walks. He's joined a long list of Priscilla Beach "guardian angels" who are all missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Jane (Mrs. Calhoun) and the whole Calhoun family. Rest In Peace John. With love Bobby & Maryellen (Cappella) Ward

To Mrs. Calhoun, Mary Jane, Jackie, David, Ann and Paula, the Woods family sends our deepest condolences on the loss of your dear husband, father, and grandfather. Our family became acquainted with the Calhouns through our O'Toole cousins; we knew the children from babysitting, school and church activities. As our paths crossed over the years, Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun always greeted us fondly and inquired about everyone - our parents and all the children from babysitter Mary Gene to the bright younger brothers. It was a sincere pleasure to be in Mr. and Mrs. Calhoun's company, talking and laughing. Mrs. Calhoun, you and Mr. Calhoun leave a mighty legacy through your many grand- and great-grandchildren.
In fond remembrance,
Philip Barnes

My sincerest condolences to Mary Jane, MJ and the rest of the Calhoun family on the passing of John. It was a pleasure getting to know John during our visits at Newfield House in the big circle and hearing stories about Worcester where my wife and I spent six years going to college and grad school. Your kindness and generosity when my mother was passing will always be remembered. I wish you all peace and comfort during this sad time. May the Circle be Unbroken.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful and loving family. John will be sadly missed. I always told him he was like family to me. He reminded me so much of my Great Uncle John. He was kind, he liked to talk about his days about the Navy. He loved his daily family visits and circle of friends. He enjoyed going out for a drive to the Canal on nice days.
