Upon his retirement, Juliette and her husband moved to Sarasota, Florida, where they were members of the Meadows Country Club, and where for many years golf and travel were among their favorite activities. Her husband predeceased her in 2002, after 54 years of marriage. Juliette returned to Massachusetts and spent her last years at Keystone Commons in Ludlow.
