Leo Talbot Obituary

Leo J. Talbot, 70, of 7 Jones Rd. died Mon. Dec. 20, 2011 after an illness.

He is survived by his wife of over 46 years, Deborah J. (Tetreault) Talbot; 3 sons, Paul J. Talbot and his wife Rachael of Auburn, Jeffrey E. and his wife Leah Talbot of Douglas and Keith A. Talbot and his fiancé Michelle of Leicester; 5 grandchildren; a sister Anna Lessard of Honolulu HI, and several nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Ernest A. Talbot and Alice R. Talbot.

Born in the Linwood section of Uxbridge on Dec. 8, 1940 he was son of Amedee E. and Rosilda C. (Beaudoin) Talbot and was raised in Uxbridge and lived in Sutton since 1972.

Mr. Talbot was a machinist for Gould & Eberhardt Gear Machinery Corp. in Webster retiring in 2002. Previously he worked at the former Whitin Machine Works and worked several years at Kohls in his retirement. He was a graduate of Uxbridge High School and served in the National Guard Corps of Engineers during the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed antiques, gardening, birdwatching, fishing and following the weather.

His funeral service will be held Thurs. Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. in the Jackman Funeral Home 12 Spring St. Whitinsville, MA. Calling hours will be held on Thur. Dec. 23 from 9:30 to 11a.m. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society·P.O. Box 22718·Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.

Debbie, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of sorrow. Leo is at peace now and you can take comfort in that. Keep your loving memories close to you heart. Unfortunatley, I didn't learn of Leo's death in time to attend the services but I want you to know that I am thinking of you all and sending my deepest condolences.
