Leonard LeDoux Obituary
EAST BROOKFIELD - Leonard H. LeDoux, 88, of Lashaway Dr. Circle, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester after being stricken ill earlier in the day.
He leaves his wife of 62 years, Jean M. (Couture) LeDoux, his sons Mark L. LeDoux and his wife Gale of New Braintree, and Peter M. LeDoux and his wife Heather of No. Brookfield, his daughters Deborah A. Miner and her husband Denis of New Braintree and Diane J. LeDoux of McCordsville, Ind., 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Miner, Erin Burgess, Brian & Jason Gablaski, two great grandchildren, Anthony LeDoux, Jr. and Archer Burgess, nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandsons Anthony LeDoux, Sr. and Nathan LeDoux.
Lenny was an insurance agent for MetLife in Worcester for 27 years. In 1984, he started J&L Office Supply Company and ran it for 8 years. Lenny and his wife spent 11 wonderful years vacationing in Florida after retirement.
Born in E. Brookfield, he was the son of Homer and Alma (Hebert) LeDoux and graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer. He later served his country as a Staff Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church and the No. Brookfield American Legion Post 41.
The family would like to thank the nurses, doctors and caring staff at St. Vincent's Hospital and the E. Brookfield Fire Department Rescue Squad for their prompt response and efforts.
Graveside services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, April 21st. at 10 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, Rte. 9, E. Brookfield. A Memorial Mass will follow at St. John the Baptist Church, No.Brookfield Rd., E. Brookfield at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Legion Post #41, 163 N. Main Street, No. Brookfield, MA 01535 or the E. Brookfield Fire Dept. P.O. Box 356, E. Brookfield, MA 01515. J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer is directing funeral arrangements for the family.

Jean-what a guy! I am convinced your love for each other put the smile on your faces!
Was a joy and privilege to have shared happy times at RFV those years we did. We returned couple weeks ago--3/4 all New but enjoying it as we did before all the politics.
Cannot imagine how your heart aches but softened by years together, family and friends until you are together again.
