Leoza Kuhnel Obituary
Whitinsville - Leoza (Lachapelle) Kuhnel, 88 of Cotton Mill Apts. passed away peacefully at home on Thurs. Dec. 22, 2016.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Lynda Araby and her husband Joe of Bristol, RI, Kathleen Benoit of Pinellas Park, FL, and Mary Ellen Corey and her companion Andrew Petitti of Quincy; 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; 3 brothers Norman, Richard, and Robert all of Whitinsville; 3 sisters Florence Killmurray of Grafton, Jacqueline Blinkhorn of Uxbridge, Ann Woodward of Whitinsville; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and her son-in-law.
Born in Whitinsville, MA on June 18, 1928 she was the daughter of Joseph and Leoza (Contois) Lachapelle was a graduate of Northbridge High School and went on to earn her LPN degree. She worked at the former Westborough State Hospital until her retirement.
Leoza had a very close family and she enjoyed her time with all of them. She enjoyed antiquing, crafting, crossword puzzles and was also an avid quilter. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church.
A celebration of life will be held on Mon. Dec 26, 2016 at 12:00 noon at her sister Ann's home, 41 Laura Lane, Whitinsville, MA. Leoza's memorial Mass and burial service will be held at St. Patrick's Church at a later date. To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit www.

We cannot believe Auntie Lee has past. She was a wonderful woman.Tom and I are saddened by such a loss. She always would say to our kids "No touchy". So sorry for your loss. We loved her very much,and have great memories of her with her sisters.
