My heart and prayers go out to all you who will desperately miss this wonderful woman. She touched my life as a the sweetest lady at the Library with my same name. Then Lois was my sisters precious Mother-in-law. She now graces Heaven and celebrates with the rest of her family. This life on earth is as the dark side of a blink compared to eternity! Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life no man comes to the Father but through me." John 14:6 Lois knew the way to Heaven and she wants you all to meet her there. Love you all!

Lois was definitely my favorite Aunt. Completely unpredictable -- you never knew what she was going to come out with next! She had a great sense of humor and when I think of her I see her laughing. She could also be serious, but I'll remember the laugh and her stories about her little brother (my dad) growing up. She will be missed.

David, Joan & Andy, I'm writing this on behalf of my mother, Vi. (former next door neighbor). My Mom had some work done on her eye this past week, and didn't see the obituary. When I saw it this evening, and brought it to her attention, she cried. Lois was her last friend, and she has many fond memories of them visiting each other and playing cribbage every afternoon. When I brought my Mom to visit Lois at the nursing home this past summer, we always had the intention of going back but never did, due to different health issues. They had such a nice visit that day. I'm glad we at least had that chane to see her again.

I used to ride the bus by this house on Boston Road in the wee hours of the morning. When the school had double sessions! I could see through the windows of this cozy house and wished I could go inside. There was a large racoon sprawled over the back of the couch and this elegant looking woman sitting in a Boston Rocker reading the newspaper. The house had an amber glow of early morning lamps and I thought this woman was so beautiful and stately as she read her paper every morning in her rocker. She became my mother in law for 35 years! How blessed I was and still am for she loved me as if I were her own daughter and I loved her back just the same. I treasured her love and friendship for the past 42 years. I look forward to seeing her again in Heaven. She will be greatly missed. I love you Mom, Donna

Don't believe I knew of a more christian role model than my Godmother Lois. Our families go back a long way, believe Mom met Lois at St. John's, as young married couples raising their families. For years, I watched this woman show others what it meant to follow God's way. She taught us in Sunday School, sang with us in the church choir, lead us in prayer, worked with us on endless Church functions. She just did it all with such love. My Mom & Dad will miss her lifetime friendship, her & Vic.
From the familiy of Eleanor & Harold George, our prayers are with all of you.

What can someone say about such a wonderful force of nature? God broke the mold when he made my grandmother!! She bought me my first Bible, took me to my first church service and even took me to take my test for my drivers license. She was involved as a grandmother should be. I knew I was loved and cherished and I will miss her greatly. Im praying that the wonderful memories of her get us all through this time of missing her dearly. Thankful and blessed to be called her grandaughter.

"Grammy Lois"....A world without you in it? It doesn't seem possible. You've always been there...First grade, walking into the old library in Sutton Center, that wonderful smell of books. And there you were, behind the desk speaking in your "quiet voice"! How many laughs have we all shared with you? That wonderful laugh of yours! You were love, and you were light, and those of us who knew you will cherish having had you in our lives. <3 Love to you all.
