I want to give my condolences to the Gilmore family for this tragic loss. I met Luke when he was Alpha Beta Gamma. He was such a great inspiration to me. My one fond memory of Luke, was every Wednesday I would walk in the room for an Alpha Beta Gamma meeting and saw Luke's smiling and comforting nature to him. Whatever mood I was in that day I, would just look at him and I was always smiling. Luke had always brought a sense of comfort to my life. I will miss him dearly.

My candle burns at both ends
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends -
It gives a lovely light.

There are no words to help ease this pain, only our loving memories! Luke was like a son to us, the times he, Mark and Pete spent together I can not sum up in a few sentences. They were like brothers and he like a son to us. He will be deeply missed.
We love you all.

I worked at Naquag and Wachusett while Luke was a student. I remember him very well. My lasting memory of Luke was from gym class that he was in with the student I worked with in 2006. He was one of those who didn't mind being partnered up with my student and was always willing to help. Luke had such a good heart. I'm very sorry for your loss. God Bless him.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Luke was a guitar student of mine and the son of my good friend Matt Gilmore, whom I graduated high school with.

I find it incredibly sad and ironic that after all the crazy things that so many of us may have involved ourselves in from time to time throughout our lives and lived to tell about, that such a promising young man has been taken from us.
Hang in there Matt and Tracy and if there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to let me know.

To all of Lukes family,

I am really sorry that this happened. Luke was one of the best people I knew. He was smart(because I used to copy off of him in middle school), he was funny, he was nice, he was easy to talk to. I went to semi, to hampton, etc with Luke and he will never be forgotten. He had many friends and was loved so much. He will be dearly missed and my prayers go out to all of his family.
