Madeline C. (Ryan) Mastromatteo at 90

WORCESTER - Madeline C. (Ryan) Mastromatteo, 90, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday January 25, 2014 in the St. Francis Home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Mastromatteo. Madeline is survived by her loving children; a son Lawrence A. Mastromatteo and his wife Ann of Worcester, two daughters Carol A. Caputo and her husband Ralph of California, and Sandra S. Sposato and her husband Robert of Worcester. She was predeceased by her son Leo P. Mastromatteo formerly of Worcester. Madeline also leaves three sisters; Rita Mirante of West Boylston, Marion LeHane and her husband Robert of Las Vegas, and Patricia Corcoran and her husband Jack of Hudson. Madeline was the doting grandmother to eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Lawrence A and James J. Mastromatteo.

Madeline was born in Templeton daughter of the late Leo and Arianna (Stearns) Ryan and lived in Worcester most of her life. Years ago she worked at the Worcester Envelope Company. However she enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked playing bingo, and a good day at the Casino! But her most treasured times were those spent with family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She will truly be missed. Madeline was a member of the Women's Auxiliary at the West Boylston Veterans Post.

Madeline's funeral service will be held Wednesday January 29, at 11:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will be held from 9:30AM until the time of the Service.
