Margaret "Peggy" (Bicchieri) Forance, 64

STERLING - Margaret "Peggy" (Bicchieri) Forance, 64, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 17, 2016 with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with COPD.

Margaret was born on April 8, 1952 in Marlborough, the daughter of John and Margaret (Roberts) Bicchieri, and also lived in Stow before moving to Sterling 18 years ago.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael; daughters, Bridgette Murphy of Worcester and Megan Sacco of Leominster; grandchildren, Alexis Cole of Worcester and Ryan Kobus of Leominster; great-grandchildren, Gracelyn, Anthony, Nicholas, Benjamin and Sophia; her brothers, Clifford "Chip" Bicchieri and his wife, Amy, and Stephen Bicchierri, all of Sterling, and John Bicchieri of New Mexico; sisters, Ann Campbell and her husband, Craig of Fitchburg and Donna Russo of Maynard; and many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Peggy was pre-deceased by her son, Robert in 2002 and the devastating loss of her grandson, Nicholas Kobus in 2015.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the following Town of Sterling departments: Fire/EMS, Police, DPW, Municipal Light for all the service they provided during Peggy's long illness; and to Health Alliance Hospice for their help and support allowing the family to keep Peggy at her home, with a special thank you to Nurse Jackie LeBlanc.

Peggy's passion in life were her family and friends and you are all invited to attend memorial calling hours from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, November 25, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Rd. (Rte. 12), Sterling, followed by a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Burial will be private in Hillside Cemetery, Sterling.
