Margaret O'Rourke Obituary
She leaves her husband of 48 years, Reginald "Reggie" O'Rourke, Sr. of Webster. She also leaves 2 sons, Reggie O'Rourke, Jr. of Webster and Patrick O'Rourke of Florida; 2 daughters, Romona Adair of Dudley and Margaret Czechowski, Jr. of Webster. She also leaves 3 brothers, Edward of VT, John of Dudley and Stephen of Dudley; 1 brother, predeceased her, Joseph Benkowski of Webster; she also leaves a sister, Betty Belanger of Sturbridge and 2 sisters that predeceased her, Mary Ann Rutledge of Dudley and Helen Paquette of Dudley. She leaves 10 grandchildren. "I love you Stephen and Christopher."
She was born in Webster and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School. Fare thee well class of 1954. She owned and operated Maggies' Fish World with her husband, for 38 years. She was a member of the St. Louis League of Catholic Women and St. Louis Church.
The funeral will be held Thurs., Dec 14, 2006, from the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School St., Webster, with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Louis Church, Webster, with burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home is Wed., Dec. 13 from 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA Care Hospice, Inc., 120 Thomas St., Worcester MA 01608.

It's been one year today. I'm as sad today as I was a year ago. I cried today as hard as I cried that day. It comforted me to feel your presence that Monday you came to visit me but I still feel so empty. I know your free of pain, I just wish I didn't feel it. We love you and miss you so much...your Angel.

Happy Birthday Mom...you would've been 70 today. We miss you so much and think about you every day. You're little angel Anna says "Hi Nana...I miss you."
It saddens me that you only got to see her grow for 2 1/2 years...from when I was 2 months pregnant until exactly 1 month before her 2nd birthday. You told me "I'm going to miss that little girl" three months before you passed. I wish you could've been there for her Birthday, we all do. But I know you were watching her from Heaven up above. We love you and miss you with all our hearts!

Stephen Evanski's love of his life was his Aunt Maggie. He raved and raved about "Mom" for as many years as I've known him. And at his wedding, I had the pleasure of meeting Maggie and Reggie. What a wonderful couple and a woman who welcomed a stranger into her life, with a heart as big as a heart can get. Reading all the entries from people who knew her makes you realize that all these people know what they're talking about. Pebbles and family, you have my heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your Mom.
