Maria Manos Obituary
Her husband William Manos died in 1986. Maria leaves four children, George W. Manos of Worcester, Paul Manos and his wife Elizabeth of Holden, Victoria Petrides of Ledyard, CT and Renie Manos and her husband Thomas of Worcester; eight grandchildren; a great-grand-daughter and several nieces and nephews. A brother and two sisters predeceased her. She was born in Foiniki, Greece daughter of Anastasios and Efrosini (Mparou) Mitsis.
Maria was a member of Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and its Senior Parishioners Group.
The funeral will be held Monday, June 29, from Callahan & Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a Service at 10:00 AM in Saint Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday, June 28, from 4 to 6 PM at the funeral home. A Trisagion Service will be held during the visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint Spyridon Family Center Fund, 102 Russell St. Worcester, 01609.

Dear George, Vicki, Paul and Irene,
We are sincerely saddened to hear about the passing of Thea Maria. She was a special lady and my favorite Thea. Sophia and I are happy that we were able to visit her in the hospital, even though she probably didn't know us. She is the last of the "Thea Group" and will be greatly missed. We'll always remember her spunk!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. She was a very sweet and humorous woman, she had lots of great stories and loved to share them. I enjoyed my time with her at Holy Trinity. So sorry for your loss.

Maria was like a "Yaya" to me. I will miss her dearly. She was the life of the posse! I was fortunate to know her and her wonderful family. I am truely sorry for your loss. My mother Elizabeth will miss her too, in her own way.
