Mark Rossi Obituary

Mark A. Rossi, 65

Grafton - S.K Mark A. Rossi, 65, passed away August 14, 2018 at Milford Regional Medical Center following an illness. He leaves his loving family, wife of 45 years, Deborah (Krisciunas) Rossi, daughters Elyce and Jessica Rossi, her husband James Keyes, grandchildren Tyler and Sidney Stadlman, and godson Sean Meehan. Mark was born November 24, 1952 in Worcester and attended Doherty High School. Even at age 14, Mark's tireless work ethic began to show. He would find employment at various plastics manufacturers throughout the city, and work until a curious manager would ask for proof of age. As the years progressed, Mark explored multiple avenues of employment, eventually becoming Assistant Manager at Tatnuck Country Club where he discovered his true passion for cooking and restaurant management. Mark's security background brought him many opportunities, including working as part of a transportation crew for legendary rock bands Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart. More recently, Mark found a home at Imperial Cars in Mendon MA where he was much loved for his humor and presence, and left his imprint in all levels of the organization. Away from work, Mark was a classical pianist and played both guitar and percussion, eventually composing and recording a cd of original music. Mark enjoyed Dobermans and was an avid boater. He dedicated years of his life as a Mason, where Brother Mark Rossi was raised June 2, 2007 as Master Mason at Franklin Lodge in Grafton, became affiliated with the Montgomery Lodge in Milford and was S.K Rossi Past Commander 2012 and 2013 Milford Commandary #11 Milford, Mass. He was knighted Milford Commander #11 May 22, 2008. Mark immersed himself into Masonic history, becoming extraordinarily well versed in protocols and rites that were his true passion. Special thanks to the staff at Dana Farber and Milford Regional Hospital for their extraordinary care. In lieu of flowers please honor Mark with a donation to Knights Templar Eye Foundation, Inc. – Planned Giving 1033 Long Prairie Road Suite 5 Flower Mound, TX 75022 or online at www.Ktef.plannedgiving.org. All are welcome to gather with Mark's family and friends Sunday August 19th from 4pm to 7pm at Roney Funeral Home 152 Worcester St. N. Grafton, MA 01536. One of the most interesting and kindest men I have known. I loved working with Mark at Imperial and have so many wonderful memories. What I liked so much about Mark was that he always had a good story, he was an amazing cook, he was loyal when no one else was and his kindness was unlike any other....he'd give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. And he so loved Debbie...when he talked about you Debbie his eyes sparkled. This is an honorary man who left his imprint on the world. How we loved you and how we will miss you. Rest in peace my dear friend.
