Mary M. Nowacki

Mary M. (Krawczyk) Nowacki, 93, of Batten Street, died Sunday, August 7, 2011 in Webster Manor after an illness. Her husband, Bernard A. Nowacki, died in 1982.

She leaves a son, Thaddeus J. Nowacki of Webster; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Nowacki and his wife Karen of San Diego, CA, Courtney David and her husband Cliff of Texas, and Kristina Ndow of Putnam, CT; 2 great granddaughters; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Bernard T. Nowacki of Arizona. Her sister Julia Domurad, died August 14, 2011.

She was born in Webster, a daughter of William and Stasia (Paholski) Krawczyk and was a lifelong resident.

Mrs. Nowacki was employed as a housekeeper at several places, including Saint Joseph's Rectory. She was a communicant of Saint Joseph Basilica, and a member of its Sacred Heart Society. She volunteered for the annual parish festival, selling car raffle tickets for many years.

A memorial Mass will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, August 25, in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be private There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
