Mary Risi Obituary
Mary is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Concetta Del Duca and four brothers, Carl P., Sr., Richard, John, and Joseph Risi. Daughter of the late Bennedetto and Antonette (Mambro) Risi, Mary was born in Stoneham and raised in Berlin, where she has lived for over 80 years.
Mary was Co-Owner of A. Risi and Sons Building Supplies in Berlin. She was a truck driver for the company, delivering supplies and materials to different construction sites. Mary was also the Owner and Operator of Risi's Package Store in Berlin. She was a lifelong member of the Grange in Berlin. A devout catholic, Mary was a member of Saint Joseph's Church in Berlin. She was a lover of flowers and birds.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph's Church, 52 West Street, Berlin. Burial will follow in South Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 10th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 pm in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main Street (Rte.20) Northborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Saint Joseph's Church, P.O. Box 284, Berlin, MA 01503 or the charity of one's choice. For online condolences or directions please visit:

To The Risi family:
One of "Berlin's finest" has passed. God speed, Mary.
Our fondest memory of Mary is that because of her eyesight she used to "card" us at the package store up until we were pushing 40 and until the day she retired - and we liked it and so enjoyed her!
