Michael Cormier Obituary
WORCESTER - Michael C. Cormier, 56, of Worcester formerly of Marlborough passed away on Saturday April 2, 2016 in his sleep at home.
He leaves his daughter Brittany L. Cormier of Webster. His father Hector J. Cormier Jr. and his wife Carole (Grace) Cormier of Marlborough. Two brothers Steven Cormier of Worcester and Robert Cormier of Marlborough and three sisters Linda Eldridge and her husband Wes of Worcester, Lisa Martin and her husband Don of Mendon and Suzanne Reiffarth of Millville. He also leaves his former wife and friend Lorna Forget-Cormier of Worcester. He was the son of the late Catherine (Fischer) Cormier and brother of the late David M. Cormier and Bonnie L. Cormier.
He was born in Fitchburg and graduated from Marlborough High School.
For many years he was the proud owner and president of the New England Knife Company in Worcester.
His thoughtfulness and kind giving heart will be greatly remembered and missed.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 15, 2016 at 10 A.M. in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery, Marlborough.
Calling hours at the John P. Rowe Funeral Home are Thursday evening from 5 to 8 P.M.
Flowers may be sent or donations may be made in his memory to Stand Up For Kids, P.O. Box 3307, Worcester, Ma 01614.
