Michael Porter Obituary
HUBBARDSTON - Michael Porter, 53, of Hubbardston, MA, formerly of Ashland, MA, passed away suddenly on October 1, 2014. He was the loving son of the late Richard and Rita Scott Porter of Ashland. Beloved brother of Maureen Musgrave and her late husband Vernon Musgrave of Ashland, Donna Lambert and her husband Donald of Rhode Island, Jack Porter and his wife Allison of Ayer, Janice DeMello and her husband Jerome of Holliston and Gary Porter of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Porter, his sister, Diane Rund and her husband Charles Rund. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.
Michael was a graduate of Keefe Tech. He was a licensed electrician and home builder. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and many other outdoor activities. He was devoted to his dogs, Luke and Red. He will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 1PM in the chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland. There are no calling hours.

So sorry to hear about Mike. So many memories of all the games Bruce and I played with Mike and Jack. They often are part of stories I've told about growing up in our neighborhood to my kids.
