Michael Wilson Obituary
Uxbridge - Michael P. Wilson, age 67, lifelong resident of Uxbridge, passed away on July 19, 2021 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after complications from surgery.
Michael was born on August 2, 1953 in Worcester and grew up in Uxbridge, attending the public school system. He went on to graduate from Quinsigamond Community College and obtained his Master's from Western New England College. During that time, he also attended the Massachusetts Police Academy and began his career as a patrolman in 1988 for the Uxbridge Police Department. He retired from UPD as Sgt in 2014.
He enjoyed walking his dog Jackpot, riding his Harley, working road details, visiting friends at Uxbridge Auto and Bob's Auto and listening to Bruce Springsteen.
Michael is survived by his devoted lifetime companion, Charlene J. (Lisak) Wilson; his dedicated and loving daughters Ashley Wilson and Lindsay Wilson and her life partner Daryl Foisy, whom resided with Michael; his sisters Marie Nisil and Mary Carbone of Northbridge and Nancy Barron of FL; his brother Joe Wilson of Millville; his best friends Bobby Knox of Uxbridge and Mike Devitto of Northbridge; his beloved buddy Jackpot and many extended family members, neighbors and close friends.
A calling hour celebrating Michael's life will be held on Tuesday, July 27th from 9:30-10:30 A.M. in Buma Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Parish, 121 Linwood Street, Linwood at 11 AM. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Uxbridge. At Michael's request, please dress comfortably in happy clothing.

Very sorry to hear of Mike passing. My heartfelt condolences to all of his family and friends. Mike was a great guy and I always enjoyed working with him. He had a calm, kind and steady demeanor and was always willing to help me out, offer advice and give instruction but never in a way that made you feel like he was talking down to you. It was always to put you in a better situation or to help you out. I met him as a kid and ended up working with him so I've watched him dedicate his life to his town, his department and his family. A good man. May God bless you and keep you Mike and may He fill your family's hearts and minds with good memories.
