Daniel Joseph Sweet

Daniel Joseph Sweet, 48, of Uxbridge, died, Saturday, February 21, 2026 peacefully at home with his fiancée by his side. He had fought a long four-year battle with stage four metastatic colon cancer.

Dan was born February 15, 1978 to the late Charles and Carol Anne (LaBonte) Sweet.

Dan received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Bridegwater State University, he then worked as a Compliance Manager for BNY Mellon Company for sixteen years, he enjoyed his job as a Domino's Delivery driver, he loved fishing with his boys and golfing with his buddies. He enjoyed hiking and kayaking with his fiancé and golden doodle, Benji. If he wasn't on an adventure with his fiancé or Boys he would enjoy horse races and nearby casinos with his friends.

He leaves his fiancée, Lisa Lee and her son, Louden, of Uxbridge; three sons, Andrew Sweet, Brayden Sweet, Benjamin Sweet all of Bellingham, Mass.; and their mother, Stephanie (Parrotta) Sweet. Dan was the brother of the late Shawn Sweet.

Visiting Hours will be held Friday, February 27, 2026 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at the BUMA Funeral Home, 101 N. Main Street, Uxbridge to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Saint Mary's Church, 77 Mendon Street, Uxbridge.

Burial will follow at Center Cemetery, Curve Ave., Pembroke, Mass.
