Nestor Ramirez Obituary
WORCESTER - Nestor Ramirez, 25, died Sunday, May 13, 2012.
He leaves his father and stepmother, Maury and Elvira Ramirez of Worcester; his mother, Julia Garcia of Boynton Beach, FL; three sisters, Yajaira Paulino, Eileen Soto, and Mary Cruz all of Worcester; his paternal grandmother, Luisa Ramirez of Auburn; his maternal grandmother, Josefina Garcia of Worcester; many nephews and nieces and aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Victor Paulino.
Nestor was born in Worcester, graduated from Doherty High School and attended ITT Tech. In his younger years, Nestor enjoyed practicing Kung Fu and playing soccer, and he was a member and volunteer of the Boys and Girls Club. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 10:00 AM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday, May 18 from 4 - 8 PM at the funeral home.

I wanted to send my deepest condolences to Nestor's family. Nestor became friends with my son's 5 years ago. We lived right up the street from him. He was a great young man. He would come by, always smiling, talking about his family and how much he loved them. As a mom, I can not even imagine the pain you must be feeling. But do know this, he was indeed called to heaven early because he was needed there. I know this, just by his gentle spirit, and kind heart. One time when I scolded my son, for something wrong he did, Nestor was right there telling him that he needed to treat his mom well, he would say, "Ah man, that's not right." I wish I could say that about most of my son's friends, but I can not.I enjoyed Nestor, he was fun, and always willing to share his beautiful smile. I will pray for you all, friends, family...I wish you peace in your recovery. And always know, one day he will greet you, once again, and show the grace and love he added to heaven while he waited for you to join him. Sincerely,

...We didn't know Nestor very well, We met a few years back when we lived in Tatnuk SQ in Worcester. We hung out a few times here and there, the times we did see each other he always seemed happy and was always smiling. He was a good person to us and always fun to be around. I am very sorry to hear about this. He will be greatly missed by us and many others. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
