Nicholas Wylie Obituary
WORCESTER - Nicholas B. Wylie, 28, of Worcester, was stricken ill and died Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
He leaves his mother Sally M. (Lorange) Aucoin and her husband Todd W. Aucoin of Worcester; his father Richard W. Wylie and his wife Suzanne Wylie of Southington, Ct.; and two daughters, Sophia Rose Wylie of Branford Ct. and Vivienne Genevieve Wylie of Worcester. He also leaves several brothers and sisters: Robert Wylie, Derek Aucoin, Natasha Aucoin and Hailey Aucoin of Worcester, and Zachary Ahmed and Nando Varriale of Southington Ct. He also leaves grandparents: Maureen and Richard Soroka and Barbara Burdzel of Worcester, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. His grandmother Jacqueline Jackson predeceased him.
Nicholas was born in Worcester. He attended the Worcester Technical High School and Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
Nicholas had many talents and was excited to enter the construction field in recent years. He has worked for regional construction companies and independently. His new career path brought him a great deal of happiness and satisfaction.
Nicholas was a devoted father and a cherished son. He was an avid Patriots football fan and enjoyed most New England sports. Nick was a friend to many and is remembered fondly as a loving and dependable man. Nicholas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Calling hours are Tuesday, April 20, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. The funeral Mass will be Wednesday, April 21, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nicholas' memory are suggested to the Autism Speaks Walk http://act.autismspeaks.org/goto/teamsophia.
