Norma J. DiGregorio

Norma J. (Parenteau) DiGregorio, 81 of Fiskdale, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at her son's home in Charlton surrounded by her family, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Henry J. DiGregorio, to whom she had been married to for 50 years until his death in 2002.

She is survived by three sons, Henry J. "Jay" DiGregorio and his wife Nancy, Paul J. DiGregorio and his wife Aggie, and Keith J. DiGregorio and his wife Tracy; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Alexandra, Miah, and Amanda DiGregorio.

She was born March 13, 1928 in Dudley and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Agnes (Dwyer) Parenteau.

She graduated from Bartlett High School in Webster and became a homemaker. She loved dancing, ceramics, and traveling with her friends around the country and abroad. She was also a long-time volunteer form the Woman's Auxiliary at Harrington Memorial Hospital.

The family would like to thank Shirley Noga of Heritage Home Health Care, and the staff from the Jewish Home Hospice for their compassion and care.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2009, from the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a Mass at 10:00AM in St. Mary's Church, 263 Hamilton St., Southbridge. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Southbridge. Calling hours at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 5:00 to 8:00pm.
